FAA Commercial Pilot Program with Flight Instructor Rating

The training is aimed at students who aspire to be employed as a first officer in commercial traffic with added certification as a Flight Instructor.


Courses are conducted as full-time training starting from zero to CPL . The training is normally conducted five days per week scheduled during all days of the week. 


After completing the course students will be offered the opportunity to stay in the US for one year to work as Certified Flight Instructors.


This flight training program is eligible for CSN Loan & Grants for Swedish Citizens for the US based training.

plus 12 months Optional Practical Training

  • 315 hrs theory
  • 161 hrs flight training

*Above time frame is based on full-time studies with a disciplined 100% time and study commitment from the student. Times may vary in the different stages dependent on proficiency, weather and other factors.

Entry Requirements


  • 18 years or older
  • Valid Passport
  • TSA Approval (non-US citizens)
  • Passing grades in English, Mathematics & Physics from at least High School, alternatively pass a pre-entry test
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate (done at arrival in the US)
  • Interview

Complete courses are based on the minimum flight hours required by the training syllabus. Please note that additional flight hours may be necessary to achieve the standard required to pass the skill test, and these will incur additional costs.
