CPL

Commercial Pilot License

If you hold a CPL you can, on the appropriate aircraft category:

  1. exercise all the privileges of the holder of a PPL.  
  2. act as pilot in command (PIC) or co-pilot of any aircraft operations other than commercial air transport  
  3. act as PIC in commercial air transport of any single-pilot aircraft, subject to some restrictions 
  4. act as co-pilot in commercial air transport subject to some restrictions.

Duration

1 - 2 months 


Course includes


For students with IR:

  • 15 hrs flight training


For students without IR:

  • 15 hrs flight training
  • 5 hrs FNPT 1
  • 5 hrs IR training in aircraft

Entry Requirements


  • 18 years or older
  • Valid PPL(A) with SEP
  • EASA ATPL or CPL theory (we offer ATPL theory)
  • 200 hours total flight time at time of Skilltest
  • Medical Class 1

Complete courses are based on the minimum flight hours required by the training syllabus. Please note that additional flight hours may be necessary to achieve the standard required to pass the skill test, and these will incur additional costs.
