Night Rating Course

Night Rating allows you to fly during night time in Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC). Flying VFR (Visual Flight Rules) night is very different from flying VFR day and many pilots find it very enjoyable.


NR is a requirement for IR and CPL.

NR is a natural step after completing your PPL to make your Time Building more enjoyable.

Duration

2-4 weeks


Course includes


  • 5 hrs in-class theory
  • 5 hrs flight training

Entry Requirements


  • Valid PPL with SEP
  • Medical Class 2

The Small Print


Complete courses are based on the minimum flight hours required by the training syllabus. Please note that additional flight hours may be necessary to achieve the standard required to pass the skill test, and these will incur additional costs.
