CPL - Commersial Pilots License

A guide for You who are thinking of commersial flying

WHAT?

South Sweden School of Aeronautics is offering courses in Commersial Pilots License Airplane, or CPL(A).

WHY?

Well, to be able to get paid…

IS IT DIFFICULT?

It does require a commitment.

The practical flying requires a more structured attitude than the average PPL pilot is used to.

But difficult: No.

THEORY:

We do not have CPL theory, a student will enter the school with CPL or ATPL theory from another FTO.

AIRCRAFT, SINGLE ENGINE

We use the schools own Rockwell Commander and Cessna 150 Aerobat in Sturup and the aircrafts of the flying clubs of Halmstad, Sjöbo and Kristianstad, situated in the southern part of Sweden.

For a student with IR, the training comprises 15 hours of actual aircraft training.

A student without IR will have to have additionally 5 hours of FNPT I and 5 hours of instrument training in aircraft.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Valid PPL(A) with SEP and 200 hours of total flying time at Skill Test
